The PA-MC-8TE1+ is a high-density, internal legacy enterprise-class multichannel T1/E1 port adapter designed for Cisco modular routing structures. Equipped with eight independent software-configurable RJ-48C ports, this module bridges high-capacity wide area networks (WAN) with local corporate networks. It provides integrated channel service unit (CSU) and data service unit (DSU) functionality, allowing each physical port to be channelized down to n x 56 Kbps or n x 64 Kbps time slots. Supporting Channelized T1/E1, Fractional T1/E1, and ISDN Primary Rate Interface (PRI), it eliminates the need for external multiplexers while seamlessly routing massive concurrent data, video streaming, and corporate VoIP trunk pipelines.
